What happens to a complaint
Certified casinos are subject to our public complaints process. It follows CCF-STD-001 § 9 (status changes and revocation):
- You tell us what happened — the casino, its CCF ID or domain, the game if relevant, what happened and when, and any transaction or bet IDs.
- Re-verification. Following a substantiated complaint, CCF can ask the casino to cooperate with a re-verification of its certification.
- Revocation. Refusing to cooperate with that request is grounds for revocation. So are operating an uncertified build while displaying the badge, and material misrepresentation in the submission.
- Public status. A certificate is Active, Expired or Revoked, and status changes take effect on the public verification page immediately.
CCF is a certification body, not a regulator: a complaint concerns the casino's certification, and CCF can't order a casino to pay out or reverse a transaction. CCF certification is not a gambling license — for licensing issues, contact the casino's licensing body.
